All outbound B2B, wholesale, and FBA Prep freight pickups must be scheduled through OpenDock before the carrier or freight forwarder arrives at Manifest's warehouse. Pickups without a valid appointment or with incomplete appointment information may be turned away.
The BOL must be uploaded as an attachment to the order in ShipHero before or at the time of scheduling your OpenDock appointment. Manifest will not be able to process the pickup without the BOL attached to the order. See How to Add Attachments to an Order for upload instructions.
First time using OpenDock — create an account:
Go to opendock.com and click Register to create an account. Enter your first name, last name, email address, and create a password. Click Register. You will receive a verification email — click the activation link to verify your account. Log in with the password you created.
Once logged in, search for Manifest in the search bar. Select Manifest Commerce from the results and click Save and Start Using OpenDock.
How to book an outbound appointment:
From your OpenDock dashboard, select the Manifest warehouse — 912 Flustern Road, Suite 200, San Marcos, TX. Click Book Appointment.
Select the load type: FTL/LTL — Outbound for all outbound wholesale and FBA Prep freight pickups.
Select your preferred date and time within Manifest's receiving hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00am–12:00pm CT and 1:00pm–4:00pm CT).
Complete the appointment details as follows. In the Reference Number field enter your ShipHero or Shopify order ID. In the Merchant/Vendor field enter your brand name. Enter the number of pallets and cartons. Enter the PRO number if you have it from your freight booking. Add your freight forwarder or carrier email in the CC field if you want them copied on the appointment confirmation. Upload a copy of the BOL as an attachment — this is required. Appointments without a BOL attached may result in Manifest being unable to identify the outbound shipment. Add any relevant appointment notes.
Click Confirm Booking.
After booking:
Your appointment will show a status of Scheduled. When the truck arrives the status will update through Arrived, Loaded, and Completed milestones.
Important: if the OpenDock appointment does not include the order number, brand name, and attached BOL, Manifest reserves the right to turn the pickup away.
