All inbound POs must meet Manifest's receiving requirements to be processed within standard SLAs. POs that do not meet these requirements are subject to additional processing time and non-compliance fees.
Non-compliance fees:
Arriving without a scheduled dock appointment: $250 flat fee. Arriving without a digital PO created in ShipHero prior to delivery: hourly labor charge; the PO will automatically move to Manifest's Unidentified Receiving Order (URO) process. Pack-out or labeling non-compliance: hourly labor charge if inventory can be readily identified; otherwise moves to URO process.
Requirements for parcel shipments:
A delivery appointment must be scheduled in OpenDock and the delivery must take place on the scheduled date within receiving hours. The digital PO must be published in ShipHero before delivery arrives. The PO must include tracking numbers with carrier and tracking number entered, one PO per master tracking number, and the expected delivery date. All individual units must have a scannable unique barcode. Each carton must contain only one SKU, or mixed cartons must be clearly separated by SKU using dividers, partitions, or polybags. Partial cases must be clearly labeled as such. Each carton must have the Manifest box label affixed to the outside, generated during the ShipHero PO creation process. If lot or expiration date tracking is required, these must be emailed to Manifest's account managers prior to delivery.
Requirements for freight shipments (LTL, FTL, or floor-loaded containers):
All parcel requirements above apply with the following differences and additions. Enter the PRO number or BOL number as the tracking number in ShipHero rather than a parcel tracking number. Create one PO per physical delivery. Pallets must not exceed 48" x 40" x 63" — pallets exceeding this size will be down-stacked and re-stacked at your expense per your rate card. Each carton must contain only one SKU. If sending freight with exclusively single-SKU pallets, you may create the PO using one "box" per pallet rather than entering individual carton counts.
Important notes:
Manifest verifies quantities at the carton or pallet level against your PO. Unit-by-unit counting or quality auditing is not included in standard receiving and will incur additional hourly charges and processing time. If you suspect count discrepancies, contact your account manager before delivery.
