A bundle or kit in ShipHero is a parent SKU that contains multiple component SKUs or quantities. When a customer orders the parent SKU, ShipHero automatically breaks it into its individual components for picking and fulfillment. No special assembly is required from Manifest's warehouse team — this is purely a SKU configuration that tells ShipHero what items to pull when the bundle is ordered.
How to create a bundle:
Log into your ShipHero portal at shipsfor.us and click Products in the left-hand navigation. Find the parent SKU you want to configure as a bundle and click into it. Click Add Kit Components and search for the component SKUs you want to include. Select each SKU — they will default to a quantity of one. Adjust the quantity for each component as needed using the arrows. Click Save.
Example: a Bundle of Shirts parent SKU might contain two units of Carhartt T-Shirt Black Large and two units of Carhartt T-Shirt Black Medium. From this point forward any new order for the Bundle of Shirts SKU will automatically import with those four component items as individual line items.
Required: notify Manifest's account managers after creating a bundle:
After building a kit in ShipHero you must contact Manifest's account managers with the SKU of each kit you have created. Manifest needs to enable a Build Kit toggle on the backend for each bundle — this toggle controls how order line items are processed in the warehouse and is required for the bundle to fulfill correctly. Bundles will not process correctly until this step is completed.
Bundles affect how inventory is allocated and displayed — for a full explanation of inventory terms see Product Page Terms & Inventory Levels.
