When cancelling orders in ShipHero, it’s important to understand that the method you use determines what action (if any) will sync back to Shopify. Using the wrong cancellation method may cause unintended updates in Shopify. Here is an overview of the various options and the updates they make in Shopify-
Order Status Update
If the order status is updated to "Canceled," then the order will be marked as Cancelled in both ShipHero and Shopify. Note the order is still "Unfulfilled" in Shopify.

Actions > Cancel Order
If the order is canceled by selecting the Cancel Order option in ShipHero under Actions, then the order will be marked as Cancelled in both ShipHero and Shopify. Note the order is still "Unfulfilled" in Shopify.

Cancel All Line Items
If the order is canceled by canceling all the individual Line Items in ShipHero, then the order will be marked as Cancelled in ShipHero and no updates will occur in Shopify
