You can edit the shipping method on an order directly in your ShipHero portal at shipsfor.us. On the right-hand side of the order you will see fields for Shipping Carrier and Method. There are three options depending on how you want the order to ship.
Option 1: Select a specific carrier and service
Use this when you want to ship via a specific carrier and service level — for example, upgrading to a guaranteed two-day service. In the Shipping Carrier field, select the carrier (e.g. UPS). In the Method field, select the specific service (e.g. UPS 2nd Day Air). Click Save.
Option 2: Rate shop across multiple carriers and services
Use this when you want ShipHero to automatically select the lowest available rate at the time the label is generated. Rate shop methods are pre-configured pools of carriers and services — the cheapest option within that pool for each order's specific weight and zone will be selected at label generation. You are invoiced based on the carrier and service selected at that time.
To set a rate shop method, set the Shipping Carrier to Cheapest and select one of the pre-built rate shop methods from the Method field. To see which carriers and services are included in each rate shop method, refer to the Rate Shop Methods spreadsheet here. If you want a custom rate shop configuration, contact Manifest's account managers.
Option 3: Prepaid label or BOL (freight)
Use this when the order is shipping via a prepaid label, prepaid BOL, or prepaid freight that you will provide. Set the Shipping Carrier to Generic and the Method to Generic Label and click Save. This tells Manifest not to generate a shipping label on your account and to wait for you to upload the prepaid label or BOL as an attachment to the order.

Important notes:
Shipping method changes apply from the point of change forward — they do not apply retroactively to orders already imported. If you need shipping methods updated on orders already in the system, contact Manifest's account managers.
