If you need to swap one product for another on an existing order, you can do this directly in your ShipHero portal at shipsfor.us or in Shopify. Changes made in Shopify will automatically sync to ShipHero. This process combines adding a replacement item and removing the original item in a single workflow.
Before you start: Orders cannot be edited once they have been picked. If the order has already been picked, contact Manifest's account managers for assistance.
Steps:
Log into your ShipHero portal at shipsfor.us. Click Orders in the left-hand navigation and search for the order. Click into the order to open its details.
To add the replacement item, click the Add Items button at the top of the order. Search for the replacement SKU, check the checkbox on the left side to select it, and click the blue Add Items button. The item will be added with a default quantity of one — click the quantity field to update it if you need more than one unit and press Enter to confirm.
To remove the original item, find it in the order line items and set both the Pending Fulfillment and Ordered quantities to zero.
Click Save Changes, then OK to confirm.
Verify: The original item should show a quantity of zero. The replacement item should show the correct quantity. Check the Ready to Ship status on the order — if the substituted item is in stock and the order is otherwise ready it will reflect as ready to ship. If it does not, review the reason and contact Manifest's account managers if needed.
