How Does the Allow Partial Feature Work?

Overview

Enabling Allow Partial at the order level in ShipHero allows Manifest orders to ship even without all items in stock. However, by default it also means that:

1. A backorder is being created to be shipped at a later date
2. ANY number of units (including a single unit) will move to the queue to be filled and shipped (i.e. if you allow partial and the order is short 25 units across multiple SKUs, if we check in a single unit of one of those SKUs via a return, we'll ship that single item)

When to Use

For D2C orders ONLY (wholesale orders are not eligible to "allow partial"):

If you would like to ship orders with any available inventory AND you are okay with us shipping as many individual packages as necessary to fully complete the order, enable Allow Partial.

How to Use

1. Log in to shipsfor.us
2. Click Orders
3. Find the order in question and click into it (in blue)
4. On the right hand side, click Allow Partial and save the record
